Once upon a time, in a small but teeming community, I was born. A community where life, like a double-edged sword, offered lessons in abundance, and the echoes of laughter mingled with cries of despair. It was the place where my journey began, a journey that shaped who I am today and fueled my passion for helping women find their joy. I grew up surrounded by a panorama of women- strong and resilient, yet time and again, beaten down by misfortunes and hardships. The consistent depiction of suffering in their eyes told the stories of many lives in disarray. There were relatives tagged with the “battered woman” label, mothers grappled with runaway husbands, leaving them to shoulder the responsibility of raising children, including difficult children amidst poverty and despair. Then, there were the orphans. Young girls, devoid of any familial support, the gaping hole of the missing parental pillar was filled not with love and guidance, but with a fierce battle for survival. Driven into premature adulthood, I saw them truly understand the phrase 'Every man for himself.'A chapter of this sober narrative was reserved for women who faced the harsh judgment of society. Pregnant, out of wedlock, they were disowned by their families, forced into a vicious cycle of poverty, sadness, and regret. Then came the elderly women, the ones who had offered their entire lives to the service of their families, only to be neglected and drowned in loneliness in their twilight years. There were others. Victims of illness, battling not just physical pain but also the fear of the end. Grandmothers, Great Aunties, Mothers, Aunties, daughters, sisters, friends, etc - all united by fear, anxiety, loneliness, and a deep-seated sorrow. However, amidst all the despair, I found inspiration. I saw strength in vulnerabilities, courage in despair, and resilience in abandonment. The spark of hope in their eyes fuelled my mission: to help these women discover their joy, to ensure that each woman realized her worth, her strength and the power within her to change her life.To do so, I started my woman-centric coaching business. A sanctuary of hope, a place of rejuvenation, and a platform where womanhood is celebrated and empowered - this business became my lifeline and their beacon of hope.We bring transformation by advocating for resilience, independence, and self-love. We coach women to recognize their potential, to break free from societal and self-imposed limitations. We help them identify their fears and face them head-on. We become their support system when they choose to stand up against injustice. We are their companions in solitude, making sure they know they're never truly alone. And to the sick, we offer not just empathy but tools to combat the mental stress and fear that comes with the territory. The calling to uplift and empower my clients is the mantle I hold dear. Each woman I encounter further bolsters my commitment, each success story fuels my passion, and every tear wiped away solidifies my resolve. My journey and the stories of countless women in my community are constant reminders of the importance and need of my work. The cornerstone of our coaching is joy - a joy that comes from self-worth, confidence, accomplishment, and love. The women of my past may have their stories steeped in pain, but, with our efforts and their determination, the women of the future will have tales of joy. And that is the legacy I strive to create, a future where every woman, no matter her past, has the right and the means to live in joy and happiness.
